Body attack and an achey body

Posted at 20:28 in Uncategorised

I had a fantastic body attack class tonight. The studio was packed out, the music was pumping and the room was energised! My already aching body is now aching even more thanks to numerous jumping jacks, plyometric squats, plyometric lunges and press ups.

I think I will most likely struggle tomorrow when I come to do my full body routine again but I imagine once I get used to doing it again, it will be ok. My quads are hurting me the most closely followed by my upper back. I almost whimpered when it was time for the lower body conditioning in body attack but compared to the last few releases, this one was pretty easy!

I had some fantastic news today – the hubby and I are going to watch Chelsea v Man Utd in the Charity Shield at Wembley next Sunday – woohoo! I can’t wait. Hubby’s dad has managed to get us some tickets so we will be bouncing around with the rest of the Chelsea Hooligans for the day.

I’ve eaten well today, and have sat and planned my food out until Thursday so I know what I will be eating all week. I find planning ahead so much better than eating whatever and then logging it only to find out my protein is too low or my carbs are too high.

I would just like to add that the post earlier about VLCD has caused some upset and offence to the lady I was discussing this subject with elsewhere. I would just like to publicly apologise for any upset my post caused.
