		<description>Please don&#039;t panic, this is completely normal!  When you lift weights, you create microscopic tears in your muscles which then take on water, glycogen and nutrients and heal over, making them bigger and stronger.  The weight gain you have seen is not fat, merely water and glycogen.  Please don&#039;t give up, you may find your weight either stays the same or even increases by a couple of lbs over the first few weeks but this is not fat - just water.

Persevere, keep doing what you&#039;re doing and you will see the scales start moving again.
