almost Friday!
This week seems to have really dragged on, don’t you think? It has been a good week for me though, having cleared some shit from my personal life, saw some major progress with my running heart rate, arranged some fun meet ups with friends, re-joined the gym and re-discovered my missing mojo.
What’s going on in blog world at the moment?
- Well, lovely Gym Ninja is having a hard time at present, so I’m sure you will join me in sending her a big hug. As she doesn’t have comments enabled on her blog, if you want to leave her a supportive message on this post, I’ll make sure she reads them.
- Laura has posted some fabulous new recipes for you all to try, which has hopefully distracted her from her broken laptop.
- Gina is having a ball in the Bahamas.
- Katie made raw chocolate cheesecake – droooooooool!
.
I had a good day today, having found my missing mojo – hurrah! After my workout in the gym, I had a lovely relax in the sauna and it really did feel like I had come home. A few of the staff members said they were pleased to see me and asked where I had been, along with a couple of regulars, with one of them commenting how it was good to see I was still in shape – I’m always happy to hear a compliment :-D
I’ve had another good day food wise, second day in a row with no crap – amazing what a boost the gym has given me! My macros are still not where I want them to be but as I said yesterday, I’m focussing on eating well and eating regularly at the moment.
Breakfast was my usual bowl of porridge, topped with Greek yoghurt, blackberries, strawberries & pecans.
Mid morning was a latte, made with semi skimmed milk
I was unsure what to make for lunch as I forgot to defrost my chicken breast to make a salad and I had no tuna so I took 3 eggs and a wholemeal pitta and made an egg puff ala Fitnessista which I stuffed into the pitta and munched. It was actually very tasty and filling!
After the gym, I continued my love affair with Dr Karg…
And for a protein boost, I ate 2 babybel light..
Dinner was a delicious lamb chilli with brown basmati rice. I don’t often eat carbs with dinner but as it was my post workout meal, I went for it.
After dinner, I was craving something sweet and I remembered spotting a protein popsicle in the freezer a few days ago – yay!

Yes I really wanted to say to the Ninja one that I can’t believe her work did that and I’m pretty sure they’re breaking employment laws with their behaviour! I hope it works out for the best for her though and is a blessing in disguise. I also want to say that I want to see those photoshoot pics when they arrive, even if she has to chop her head out of them! :-P
And you Jag, glad to hear that you’re all positive and motivated again, it suits you much better! xx
I know, it’s so bad isn’t it? I’m also dying to see her pics, she’s a very hot lady is our Ninja, body to die for!
Thanks for the kind words, I much prefer to be positive and motivated, sorry if my blogs have been moany of late, back to upbeat and happy from now on :D
awww thanks babe MWAH xxxxx
No worries beautiful, I’ll be thinking of you – text me when you’re done *mwah*
:-) Thanks for that.
Apparently as I’d only worked there 10 months they can do what they like. Loopholes apparently! Scary isn’t it?
Oh and if the photos turn out half as good as the ones I’ve seen the photographer take of other girls then I’ll post em over a billboard, lol!
PS..Looking forward to meeting up with you & Tara at BodyPower JAG. :)
No probs mate, I know there are a few people that wanted to be able to contact you so I figured they could leave a message here for you.
I hope you will be sharing your pics, if not on the blog, at least facebook or twitter them. Can’t wait to meet you, this time next week I’m going to be so so excited! :D
Big hugs to gym ninja, and I’m glad you pointed me in the direction of another great blog I hadn’t found yet :)
ps I always forget to click the spam bot button duhhhh
Oh, Gym Ninja’s blog is awesome and often has me laughing out loud at my desk – she has a real knack for comedy writing!
Thanks for the shout out! Glad your work out went well, I always find that if I can keep on track with my exercise the healthy eating comes a little easier. I must try those Dr Karg crackers, I was eyeing them up at the shops yesterday but didn’t get them in the end, I wish I had now! x
No worries lovely, you’re welcome! You’re totally right, eating healthy was always easier when I was training too.
The karg crackers are droolsome, you MUST try them xx
Good Luck Susan.
Thinking of you Gym Ninja

It does look much nicer, your brother did a nice job, best put the kettle on and come back then!
Hurrah! So glad you found me, the blog changed to a new server so people stopped getting updates which was a pain in the arse but everyone seems to be checking out why I’ve been quiet.
When I picked up the Dr Karg crackers it was actually you that I thought of as I know how much you liked them :-D
Glad you like the new blog, very proud of my little bro!
