Operation Wardrobe

Posted at 16:30 in Personal

Oh my god, it was so much worse than I imagined!

I really am an utter slutty slutster!

It took me over two hours and I removed 6 bags full of clothes – 4 for the charity shop and 2 for the dustbin as even I wouldn’t wear them – why the hell did I even keep them?!

I was really chuffed to have found my Amplified Clash T-Shirt – I *heart* it :-)

Now my wardrobe looks like this…

Jeans on the top shelf, t-shirts on the 2nd shelf, shorts, vest tops and halters on the 3rd shelf and my gym gear on the bottom.  Hanging are all my work clothes, tops that crease when folded, dresses, skirts, scarves and belts.  PJ’s are underneath the hanging clothes.

If you look, you can just about see my Vivien of Holloway Dress – I was appalled to see it was buried underneath the mountain of clothes in the bottom of my wardrobe *shakes head*

Are you organised or a messy mare?  Which does your wardrobe resemble?  My before or after?

Nice to see the VoH dress hanging in pride of place. How COULD you have buried it under a pile of other stuff? tsk! xx

Wow, really? I am so pleased I’m not the only messy cow! I feel so annoyed with myself for letting my beautiful dress get buried, I think I’m going to have to find an occasion in the very near future and wear it by way of apology :D

somewhere inbetween. i find living in scotland you cant have a winter or summer wardrobe as you can see 5 seasons in one day. so i can never put anything aside. mine is crammed but not too messy. my shoes and handbags are all nice but i have an addiction there. i have photos for insurance purposes. might have to do a slutty gallery…. cue tony hart music

I have been having a huge clear-up because I’ve just put my house on market (1st viewing in Sat) because I have a new job in another area. I’m such a clutter-slut! I have 7 wardrobes (the really big tall ones with drawers, shelves etc from Ikea) plus a walk in wardrobe in the guest room, and they are absolutely full to bursting. Half my clothes are in boxes on top of the wardrobes, and I simply have no more room for shoes :-(
I got rid of 2 tellies and a monitor from my cellar, and there’s still so much junk! How do people live clutter-free?????

      Clutter-slut – love it!

I can’t imagine having 7 wardrobes – they were all filled with your clothes? that’s mental!
